I recalibrated mine old unit to get it this way. Usually start around 3. You don’t go higher than 7 unless you need to. Losing a little power on the go (low batteries/poor connection/too moist) and you’re still able to extract everything. And low is still low. Best setting if you ask me!:science:

I wouIdn’t worry too much about it, if it’s not already broken. I bought mine mid 2020, still going strong. I’ll need an upgrade, not a repair! But I agree, it should work with your receipt, not a registration.

My flite died on me during the summer. What a tragedy! No warning, just stop working after 2.5 years of regular use. I did contact the maker. A ‘Fatal event’ hard to repair. It sure didn’t seem like a comeback was in his plans at that time. I’m still a fan. Great IH. Wish mine still worked.

My last ones lasted three years, but were really dead at the end. Had six of them in rotation. Some say six is too much. However, Perfect for short vacations without a charger.
