The beaker base has a more stable appearance than some of the straight tube base Dirty Rico pieces. That is very nice diffusion indeed. :cool:

$20 S & H seems a bit high for such a slight piece. Perhaps it was naive, but I thought that the price included S & H. It is a pretty small bubbler after all. ;)

Depending on the diameter of the bubbler body, the distance between the rear male joint and the ashcatcher body might be too small and require an adapter to clear the bubbler body. Otherwise, why not just get the: 14mm Ashcatcher It is 50c cheaper than the 18mm anyway. ;)

... or molded in the glass? BTW is the micro bub the evolution of the idea of attaching a J-hook to your ashcatcher?
