might not even be because of that. the way the screen snaps in there, it doesnt look like much could get in. could just be a lot of airflow through the bowl. and did you guys run the vape on high for a few minutes maybe that would take care of the rubber taste.

i think that the very unrestricted airflow allows a lot less dense vapor through. like on the solo and pax, u get bigger clouds becuse theres less air flow and the vapor is more condensed. if thats the case u wouldnt see as much vapor coming out the acent but you would still be getting the same...

the pax still works tho with smaller loads. just turn the heat up a little more. its not as good as with big loads but if works. if the ascent does better with with this than the pax like someone said earlier, it should be fine.

does it work good at low temps like 365-380.? i prefer lower temps usually. how much does it smell if you leave a half vaped bowl in it for later?

does the charger plug in on of thos holes in the grill. how bright is the screen when its dark. would that draw a lot of attention.

they should make a reducer bowl that pops out the grill or something on thee ascent and drops in the bowl for vaping smaller amounts.. nvrmind save that for the ascent 2.0 actually lol

every vape has a learning curve, but will it work well if you just throw some in and turn it on will a screen in the bottom of the bowl affect the heating. do i even need one. how much can the bowl really hold. how constant are the temps. do you feel a difference when you go +or- 1-2...

im glad the screen will fit in the tube. i wonder if putting one in the bowl as well would affect the conduction.\ the holes in the bowl look big. not that important but look at the detail they put into thos pokers. thats some quality fuckin pokers lol!!

Its solid but do you think the glass would break if dropped when the tube is in. Also iv found on the pax you need to wait for it to warm back up after every few hits. Did it do that or did it stay at a constant temp? Im glad to hear good first impressions!

Takin my idea...like a glass lined ceramic that holds .2 maybe would be awesome. But dv, sell it as an accesory after the release along with the straight water adapter.

Not a problem if the temps are a few degrees off. I just hope they are consistant and dont fluctuate. Also hopefull it will make a difference when you go up or down a degree. Ill take my laser pointer thermometer thing and measure the temps when i get my ascent
