Sounds like the flame is too low or far away. Usually when people have trouble with these they are charring, if you're not even getting a hit it sounds like you've still got a lot of room to play with.

Sounds like you should just grab an induction heater for your vapcap. Only other vapes I'd probably be looking at are Vapman and a Brick for hash. Now a desktop powerhouse on the other hand would be a great choice for an electric vape for hash.
