Im doing a complete activation; you want everything melted down til smooth and homogenous so it flows/wicks the best. Flavor is awesome, I could see it being a fun little rabbit hole.

I’d probably recommend 6MM for cooling. Maybe 5MM if you find them. The connection between cooling capability and draw restriction is proportional. Smaller will provide more cooling potential at the expense of increased pressure drop.

Gonna start making my own rosin carts, I recently tore apart an AVD cartridge and was pretty content with the internals; cotton was not charred whatsoever and the stainless steel parts seemed suitable.

It’s a really tough decision, but I think I’m gonna go for the InVerzion vaporizer.

We get some real hash in California but nothing like the Canadian market. I think most hash lovers spin up their own. It's actually easier to find very high grade full melt "dab ready" hash then more average grades.

You’re probably thinking of infrared radiation. Technically there is always infrared radiation involved but realistically it takes considerably higher temperatures to produce significant amounts of radiant heat - often with a glowing hot element. Like a toaster.

Interesting, do the capsule lids not fit tight enough? Or did something dissolve them? What carrier oil did you use? If you used gelatin capsules, potentially yo could melt the whole thing down and try refilling more capsules
