Id be skeptical of anybody claiming flavor differences between boro and quartz. Quartz is the exact same material as borosilicate glass - silica. Which comes from sand. The only difference is the added boron which lowers the melting point for easier flame working.

IMO the easiest method with the enail is to have an extra banger and just cycle them out from your cleaning solution. The opaque bangers are a lot harder to keep clean due to all those little air pockets. I went back to clear quartz. :leaf:
