I put the pad on top, but I've only used grinder sugar as hash. If I have oil I put it on top of the pad.

I believe so. You can use it when it's charging. So I would think it would work when batts are dead. Maybe someone can confirm? The batteries can be replaced by the manufacturer for a fee. Hope this helps.

@peterpiper sums it up. I would imagine that's in Celsius. Put a little in, cover with supplied liquid pad to make a snug fit and turn the mighty on. I would experiment with the temps. You can't go wrong.

I'd say the answer to both of those questions is Yes.

I just ordered one that attaches to the CU. (from Delta 3D) It works out more expensive coz I'll buy another CU for it. But it fixes to 14mm and 18mm so kind of the same if one was to buy two sizes of the Easy Flow. I guess the real peace of mind is I'll be using the S&B component that attaches...

I think the 2min shut off is great. It goes by so fast I timed mine to make sure it wasn't the 1min. 1 min seems way too short. I'm currently loving Skunk #1 at around 165-175c. The taste goes so well with coffee!
