thankfully no. the good news is the outside of the grinder still looks good as new :D

It was and still is advertised as being anodized, which obviously it is not. @sour deez Your SC Ti is truly anodized. This one was more like spray paint. I too own several SC grinders and you shouldn't have any issues like this.
