    Discontinued ThermoVape

I expect you will be satisfied once you get the hang of it. I find that the vapor is much smoother with the Thermovape than the MFLB. Both have a similar learning curve, although it is much easier to scorch the load in the launch box in my experience. Good luck! Much like Stu, I have also...

No need to wait for everything to perfectly dry. It will dry out pretty quickly from the heat once the current is running through it. I usually just make sure all the excess water is off. You will here some sizzling type sounds as the core heats up and vaporizes the rest of the moisture. I...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

I am not surprised by this at all. The Thermovape is a very specialized tool which works very well in specific applications. It is not really a be-all and end-all vaporizer for all situations. It is not the crescent wrench of the vaporizer world. Definitely not one-size-fits-all. It is a...

The solo is mostly convection. It really only produces vapor when one is inhaling. With regards to battery life, keep in mind that the solo has a very large battery.

    Arizer Solo

Been really enjoying the solo these past couple of days. I lucked out given that my M106 has no robo-fart smells and the glass stems fit nicely. This is fast becoming my go-to vape for use at home. When out and about, I have been using the Thermovape.

I hope the new parts sort out your problems. It sounds like you may have had a dodgy switch where maybe contact with the batteries was cutting in and out for some reason or another.

Any suggestions for a suitable carrying case for the solo?

    Arizer Solo

Just had the first session with the solo. My first impressions are very positive. The taste is really nice and the vapor was really nice and thick on heat setting 4. There is really no learning curve with this unit. Just turn it on, let it heat up to temperature and then start hitting it...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

From a cold start I usually go with a 10 second warm up which I find sufficient. It also depends on the dryness of the herb your are trying to vape.

Very interesting indeed. I'm also looking forward to the video and more information about the materials used, especially those in the vapor/air intake path.

Me too. That was my criteria for ordering the ThermoVape in the first place. Since then, it has quickly become my go-to vaporizer. It suits my needs very well. That being said, I do not think everybody's needs or expectations are the same. I certainly would not recommend this unit for a...

Really glad it is working out for you. I don't recall who was the first one to mention the "milkshake" draw, but they really hit it one the head.

In my experience, the biggest factor which keeps the warm-up time quick is holding the Thermovape vertically while inhaling. I had a issues in the past where even a 10+ second warmup was not sufficient to get the thick vapor going when holding the Thermovape horizontally or at a 45% degree...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

I'll try to address your points one by one from my perspective. 1. I haven't weighed out the amount I put into a bowl. I don't have a scale. What I do is fill the bowl with ground herb, relatively fine, but not powder. I usually use my volcano grinder, which seems to grind slightly finer...

Try holding the Thermovape in a vertical holding position. This works much better. In terms of the draw speed, you should be ok as long as the draw force is relatively strong, but not fast. Think about drinking a thick milk shake through a straw. For me, this is the ideal draw. The vertical...

Great suggestions. What I would like to see though is a docking station for charging as well as a large capacity battery compartment for using at home.

I need to try this, thanks for the suggestion. Out of habit, I have put the batteries in positive side up.
