I'd say that is false but everyones different. A co worker had a swab test last night ans she had a smoke at 2.00pm and passed at 7:00pm. I've had countless swabs after smoking the night before and pass with a 8 hour break. Just my personal experience and co workers experiences though.

I get tested at work, same saliva kits the qld police use. I can pass a test after a 8 hour break. Have heard of people passing them with as little as 5 hours but I don't like to chance my job on it. I think they are pretty unreliable for thc, harder drugs on the other hand show up upto 72...

Yeah most people out here have a cut off time the night before. I try to finish up by 8:30 which gives me 10 hours. It's nice to be able to have a vape when u get home from work and still pass a test. Much better than the piss tests a lot of people are still subject to.
