My only suggestion would be to eliminate the vac from your process if your comfortable doing so... You can achieve shatter at lower temps. Take a look at some of my posts in "share that dab stash" thread. I never vac and never go over 110℉ and I always make crystal clear shatter. Finished...

Can you post pics? There are so many different reputable company's out there that have their own pricy yes but guaranteed quality nails out there I would look around at the reputable vendor page and buy a good quality high grade Ti, even if only for the piece of mind.
