    EVOLV Cricket

Just wanted to drop in as it’s been a few months. My cricket LARGELY stays in the shelf now. I try to break it out now and again, but the lightening pen is just far and away a better on the go device. Heat is better, load is better, amount of hits to finish the same amount of material is better...

    EVOLV Cricket

The crickets titanium trench gathers at best a skid mark from excess heat, where as the lightening cup burns back to completely clean. Just wanted to add in relation my previous additions to this thread- I received a new bucket after explaining the corner gaps and how they catch cotton, and...

Has anyone tried the Lightening Pen by Divine Tribe? It’s literally what the cricket promised, except it can heat clean itself as well. I’m getting fat clouds, can put a little MORE than a bb, and it’s like 14 mm on the mouthpiece if I wanted to add water filtration.

Before I accidentally damage my atomizer, has anyone broken it down to clean yet? How far? Can I remove the actual heater or does that whole bottom half go into anhydrous alcohol?

I can’t tell you how many people have specifically complained to me about their puffco being great except you can’t take a solid dab. Just because one person likes taking multiple hits over the course of one dab does NOT mean the device is only geared towards that, and no where is either device...

You are correct in the puffco disappointed me, but I believe one hit dabs should be an easy option for any concentrate device to be worth its price. The core 2.0 can do both, easily, and has presets set as such. I believe the pockety could be set to a state where I can get one hit, but I knew I...

Alright! Got my ruby unit yesterday, put maybe ten or so dabs through it, and here are some preliminary thoughts. •ruby seemingly needs to be much hotter to perform the same way as say the core 2.0 with the v5 in it. •I haven’t found the temperature that gives me my bb sized dab in one hit...

Requiring a computer connection for a mobile vape device is a nonstarter for a huge portion of the market. Acting as if it has anything to do with being a Luddite is missing the point. In reference to our conversation, what would you like me to add? I’m still running into issues with the device...

I’ll try resetting through escribe, but locking and unlocking didn’t work, and I only ever use the tool provided. Even if resetting on my computer works, this is a huge issue, especially if you don’t have access to a computer regularly. Will update if this fixes the issue. I’d argue they never...

    EVOLV Cricket

Recent update: Now the cricket device constantly shows as “cap off” and no amount of finagling will get it to register the cap is on. There’s a moment while the cap is being applied where it shows the higher temp, but once seated reverts back to “cap off” and the lower temps. I’m kind of at a...

Much appreciated, also new vape colored lenses are real good point ha And sorry the review from the person who has both said that the peak pro was better or this device?

How fat of a dab? Temp? Could you compare it to other devices like the puffco or v5?

Honestly I haven’t counted either, but if I were to ballpark hits, easily 10+. As far as charge time, I don’t know I usually throw it on a charger when I go to bed and unplug when I use the bathroom in the middle of the night lol

Surprisingly, after like two or three in a row, I’d argue the cricket is still FAR less hot than the v5 in the cub after one.

    EVOLV Cricket

If Evolv put out a SLIGHTLY higher quality trench, I think I’d be all in for the price point. The weight in hand, the amount of hits between charges, and the what seems like tight manufacturing of every other piece here, I’d say easy 300$ device. But with the extra step of trying to use my...

    EVOLV Cricket

Honestly taste is dank, no twang I can speak of, although I never really step the heat up past 500. Temp wise, absolutely no discomfort on the inhale or exhale, v smooth If I were more savvy I’d close the little tiny pinholes that catch, but yeah as it stands my v5 is still seeing action just...

So I got mine a little over a week ago and here are some preliminary judgements. • a bb is too much for this thing, half bb seems to get the least amount of splatter and be about one decent sized hit. • the trench weld is a bit sloppy, leaving open holes in all four corners that more than...
