I'm assuming that the Solo II's battery will require a higher amperage and voltage than the original OG Solo's battery, although I do not have the OG Solo and Solo II to actually look at the numbers. So it could possibly damage your OG Solo's battery because of the higher amp and voltage...

I have considered it, but I have weighed the time and precision needed to modify the front with my stoned mind and reconsidered...:science: Once I tried using the buttons with the case over them I figured it's really not that meaningful to me to modify. Plus, it covers and protects that much...

The Solo II looks like a great unit for home use when I have my GonG with me, or for camping because of the long battery life. I remember my old OG Solo's battery degraded to the point where it would only heat for 12 minutes before dying, about 1 session. Hopefully the battery doesn't degrade...

I like it honestly. It doesn't get in the way too much, the screen is visible and the charging port is accessible. The only "gripe" that you could say is that it covers the minus and M buttons, which I don't mind. I still use my thumb to turn it on, but I am 6' so I have large hands.

I'm enjoying mine so far, but my favorite part about it is the GonG I have for it! It milks!

No. I wanted the upgraded screen and battery too. But now it looks like I'll have to clean my glass and swap it out for the Air II stem that came with it.

I just found out my original Air tipped stem is too small for good vapor production, I've started using the full glass stem. Might have to get a longer stem for cooler vapor, but for now I'll have to stick with my GonG and other one. :rant:

It could be a fried heater or a severed connection along the way. Maybe one of the wires came loose inside and prevented the heater from receiving power? That's my thoughts.

Maybe someone could contact Arizer about this error code? I have an Air II now so I could possibly get an error code similar to this along the road.

The air path starts at the last hole in the plastic grill and up through the heater. Doesn't touch the motherboard and battery area. There are a couple of wires that run up to where the magic happens, but that's about it. They are insulated wires and everything is RoHS so I'm assuming the wire...

I would be willing to call it close to free flowing, no more milkshake. It's really improved over the OG Air. They even had it charged at about 68%, how nice of them to have some juice to clear off the manufacturer oils. :D

@stickstones , have you looked into the isolated air path for the Air II? I'm curious about that. As I guessed, the vaporizer didn't come early enough before I left for work. It's patiently waiting for me at home. :rockon: only 4 more hours until I get to look at it :D

I would say that the biggest difference (speculation of course) is the battery life capacity in the Solo II doubles the Air II, but the size is bigger because of that. The Air II has a swap-able battery and easier to travel with and get more battery. I personally really like the ability to buy...
