I'm with you. I grind my material finely and never go above 10.30 on the dial. At around 10.00 on the dial, 0.1g of top shelf herb gives me 3 or 4 dense flavorful hits. Turning the unit up higher simply ruins the flavor and burns through the material faster without getting me as high overall.

I think you're right about the variance. I use my EVO at 10.30 on the dial. Anything above 12 o clock on the dial is waaay too much. At 10.30, I get 3 massive clouds from 0.1g of herb with great flavor. The ABV is golden.

Agreed. If your vapcap is performing better than your EVO, then your EVO has a problem. I have tried every portable on the market the last 10 years and the EVO completely destroys all of them.

Sounds like a temperature issue, i.e. Evo is too hot. Try turning the dial to 11 o clock, leaving the unit to warm up for 20 minutes, and then taking a long rip.

With conduction vapes, the material sits in the oven and gets hot. This is not the case with the mighty, which is mainly convection, but has a metal ring to retain heat once heated by the air

I have had my Mighty for over 2 years and it still produces dense, tasty clouds like day 1. That is why people rate it so highly.

I clean my glass daily. If you use your evo without water like me, and it sounds like you do, you'll notice that the flavour drops off fast. After cleaning, the fruitiness comes right back. Nice

The performance may well be better, but I am still not a fan of breathing in air heated by a titanium block. I have lots of allergy issues and the EVO never fails to satisfy.

When I was a young man, we used to call this a 'rush hole'. I now use the solution from dhgate shown above with the two-way glass adapter and plug. More elegant all round for me

Have to say, I disagree on both counts. For me, water makes a massive (negative difference) to flavour. Also, I have always used the LSV dry. If it is harsh, you need a bigger glass chamber

Given the amount of pain you are dealing with, I would suggest a desktop unit over a portable. There are several vapes out there that can deliver the dose you need in one or two hits. I do not know any portable that will stand up to 4 full loads back to back regularly. Just a thought.

Thanks for the link. This one looks great in terms of being modular, but it's not really the single chamber I am looking for. I guess you could just use the one base, but then it's too small.
