    The Grasshopper

Too bad we don't scrutinize politicians to the same critical level of detail!

    The Grasshopper

I'm glad the GH team is into the details. No doubt that once the GH gets out into the wild there will be issues and hopefully, solutions. We have waited for over a year, a few more weeks before the first units ship is no big deal. In the meanwhile, my Elevape is doing a fine job of keeping...

    The Grasshopper

Looks promising, at least it appears to work and the heat up time is impressive!

    Discontinued Elevape SV

Had the broken coil in the post experience last week. My ESV is back in action with a fresh set of bowl screens. Good as new!

Screw the video for now! I would rather they put priority on completing final testing/tweeks so they can start shipping out initial orders ASAP. The video can come a bit later.

    The Grasshopper

I contributed on 11/14/13, looks like some of us Early Birds may have our hoppers soon! The tweeks they mentioned don't seem that complicated. It gives me confidence that they are taking time to get it right before they release the first units.

Lol, as a backer, I want them to take as much time as needed to get it right. I'm not worried about it at all. ☺

sasNW, awesome kit you're packing! The Elevape and AA combo is working well for me too. What's the best way to store loaded AA stems for on the go use? Doob tubes?

    The Arizer Air

The Air kicks ass! It gets the job done as quickly or as leisurely as you want. Draw restriction is not an issue if you have normal breath control. It is not fussy, as it doesn't require load stirring or frequent disassembly for cleaning. One thing missing however is instant on demand...

Well there it is! Nice report, I should have one in a few days!

    The Grasshopper

If the level of attention and effort they put into perfecting that clip is indicative of the effort they put into the rest of the Grasshopper, we should have an awesome vape!

I find that when the sensor on my ESV is dirty, combustion can occur unpredictably. To help keep it clean I use a small flat brush to clean it up. Use the same brush to clean up the lid and bowl when reloading and a cut down Starbuck stirrer to stir.

    Kram Vaporizer

I wonder how many of these have been produced and sold. Look forward to your review!

    Kram Vaporizer

Has anyone actually purchased and used the Kram? I like the replaceable batteries and the oven/bowl size seems decent. I would like to see some reviews before deciding whether to purchase one.

So what does the retaining ring tool look like? I'm going to get of those tools and a couple of spare coils. Don't want any downtime, lol!

    Discontinued Elevape SV

Looking forward to getting the new lid and further development of this vape. For use on the go, there is no other. My unit has seen about 2 months of daily use so far and continues to operate reliably.

    Discontinued Elevape SV

A person could easily go broke with all these new vapes! I told myself when I bought the ESV, that it would be my last vape purchase for the rest of the year. We shall see about that!

    Discontinued Elevape SV

Didn't take any pics when I moved the coil but it is really simple. It may not even be necessary if your coil is already centered under the bowl screen. Mine was a bit off center. You will need a very small screw driver to loosen the post screws to reposition the coil, then very gently nudge...

    Discontinued Elevape SV

Repositioned the heat coil to center it under the screen for more even heat distribution. Did this by loosening both post screws and gently moving the coil over. End result is more consistent performance. Still need to stir but not as much.

    Discontinued Elevape SV

The replacement screens that I received appear to be made of stainless steel, a bit heavier and coarser than the original brass screen. The edges on the rep screens are less prone to fraying. I'm also less aggressive with the brush than before with the original screen. Simple to clean with a...
