Should I make a batch of normal gummies to get the temperature and technique down?

So i have a dropdown full of (bho) reclaim. I want to make gummy bears. Now I was thinking of just melting the reclaim out of the stem, right into the hot gelatin/jello mixture. Or should I mix the reclaim into coconut oil first?

Is there a reason the ss kits were on clearance and sold out? Are they not being made anymore? Is it being replaced? Having just got a hammer top, an ss kit would make use of my old top and double top laying around for kiss carts and similar.

While messing with the persei last night (in the dark), I noticed the blue ring around the button glows faintly, when there are batteries in the persei unit (while not holding the button down). So I thought maybe storing the batteries outside the unit when not in use would help save batterie...
