I've noticed little pieces of white in my DBV bowl, and some parts of the heater seem to glow when it's turned on. Could the heater be breaking off?

My EQ died :( Are those little things that come with the EQ with the letters/numbers printed on them safe to expose to high levels of heat in a vapor path? Want to use one as a mouthpiece for my other vape.
