Hi, My Crafty is still running fine I'm up to 348hrs on it, it is my main vape and is used every day without fail usually about 8-15+ bowls some times more. I have a desktop but that's not been out since November last year. The Crafty get's put straight on charge after every vape usually, it is...

Yes since last November I've cycled two CU in ISO soak for sometime more than two weeks at a time. Mostly every week though. Straight out of soak I wash with very hot soapy water then rinse with boiling water. I do still get the slightest ISO taste on the first bowl, but it's non existent on the...

Water boils @ 100c I doubt boiling it will do much damage considering the vape hits temps much above this. I always poor boiling water over my CU after a hot soapy wash and after it's been in ISO soak for weeks at a time.

Regarding cleaning, I have 2 CU one is in constant ISO soak complete with o rings. When the other one gets dirty I pick out the one in soak, drain off the excess ISO then wash with hot soapy water. Rinse Dry and use. Not before plonking the dirty CU into the dark brown ISO solution ready for...

Nice Work, you have skills! The last time I used a sewing machine was in textiles at school about 23 years ago.. Oh I'm getting old. :-( I made a waist coat that I wore to the school disco, everyone laughed at me. Your work looks great, I would like a case like this to keep my things together...

Well I'm up to 231hrs about 16 hrs on new battery and soldered heater connection. It's been so much better, no warning issues or charge issues, the sensor is air gapped away from the battery. Heat up time has now increased to avg 1.28seconds @ 160c above ambient. It's punchy performance when...

If you have been using the unit for a couple of bowls, or a long single bowl the safety feature will not let the crafty begin charging if the temperature of the battery is above a certain level, the more you use the crafty the higher the battery temp, especially when the battery is nearly flat...

The overheating issue could be different reasons for different people, it could be that the unit is not really overheating, it could be issues with the specification of the thermistor, software programming or even bad batteries that are heating up more than they originally specified. The first...

Ok so I've ordered a new thermal fuse, well I've ordered 10 they cost less than the delivery. I am loving the performance from my crafty now, it never overheats now, the base is cool and heat up is a very consistent 1.20 from 24c to 190c timed it every time I've remembered and it's always the...

Hi, ^ Kindness costs nothing but means a lot. Nice. It's under load cutoff is 3.2v sorry for the wrong information. Can't understand why I wrote 3.0v. I hate giving people the wrong info I do apologise. I have a fluke meter only and resolution not the best. But it was definitely 3.2v The...

Well it didn't last long, I have the red and yellow lights of death, but never fear after investigation I've found another design fault, and possibly why it's failed and why the base gets so hot! The heater is remove able (not soldered to the board) the leg of the internal 10a fuse is a push fit...

Wow what a great mod! I may well go and get the dremmel out! I did actually think of doing this but couldn't work out how to do it, I was thinking though the top of it but the fixing screw is in the way. I did a battery change mod on my old PAX too How did you break the board? Have you chipped...

Just to check back in and say mine is still fully working @212 hours. But decided to put new 18650 cell in, because I can and wanted to see the difference. The unit has been fine but at around 150hrs it used to shut down early whenever I did 2 bowls straight, so I decided to remove the...

This is a little dissapointing, but i did think to myself that it wouldnt last. You would have thought they would reset it if they changed the battery. I hope they did change it for you though, time will tell. Some differences since using the new unit i found: The bottom of the crafty...

Hi Welcome, Just send it in, maybe mention in your covering letter that it was not performing well and the crack appeared with use. Or maybe dont mention the crack at all, send it in with just the body no cooling unit charger or parts. I sent in my unit which was cracked (actually broken off)...

It's all in the bud. You only get out what you put in. I have diffrent results everytime with different types of bud. One thing is consistant if the bud is absolutely saturated in ripe trichromes your pretty much going to get good vapour if temps are right!! Some bud i get looks like its...
