Out of curiosity, are the people having the problems with split or broken covers using the same wood? Mine is a walnut body and I think the pressure from the battery springs is what caused my bottom cover to pop off as I never banged or bumped mine. I treated it like a glass piece.

As far as it's been explained to me, this feature hasn't been overlooked, but outright discarded for simplicity. That's also why the light has been done away with and there is no power knob. The whole purpose is to have fewer parts to fail, a quicker production time and reduced costs for everyone.

If you look back some large number of pages, someone posted a good pic of the heater and electronics. It looks relatively safe if you go from the air intake out the mouthpiece. The electronics look fairly robust. I've used a tool with similar air pressure with success. I had to block the holes...

The temp setting was reset. I'm sure. A problem that needs to be fixed with mine results in the battery losing connection and I definitely notice a drop in power as if my settings were reset. I have to go back into the settings and raise the power back to 7, which isn't that much of a hassle...

I tend to take a one hitter's worth and tap it dry. It gets the job done fine. I've never used the entire chamber; I think I will this weekend when I want to get super blasted.

I deal with the heat by raising it. For me, the lower temperatures means I have to expose myself to hot air for longer. With the Firewood raised to 6, I take good hits at 4 and am good to go before my mouth is dry and burnt. I also tried stuffing some EQ tubing over that plastic mouthpiece. I...
