For anyone on the fence, I would highly recommend reaching out to @stardustsailor. At first I was worried about going carbless, but the ample inner diameter more than makes up for it. I requested a stem that was durable and fun to spin and this one checks all of the boxes!

For those that use degummed hemp fiber under the ccd, how do you keep it from burning? It’s collecting a lot of crap, but combusts a bit.

that sounds amazing, I can't wait to be able to buy in a store ---- question to those that use hemp beneath the CCD, how do you manage to not combust the hemp? a little smoke always goes out the side of tip when there is hemp.

It is! Ordered 3/23 and arrived this week. It has the character of a handmade unit but hits harder than my crafty. Definitely quite pleased with it.

Thanks everyone！do you guys prefer to use the rimmed baskets or does anyone use without a bottom basket? Is there an affordable place to buy more baskets? I got a bunch of rimless baskets with my DDave kit, but it’s a struggle to get them to fit.

Just got mine and I’m absolutely loving it. Quick question, is it fine to leave a battery in it? Will it eventually go to standby mode? Also is it better to charge via the cable or use a battery charger?
