Did you submerge the cap in ISO? I don't think that's meant to be done with the BFG devices but I could be wrong.

I recently made a purchase with the idea of doing a little experimentation... I ordered some spare Zirc balls and when I was ordering I couldn't help myself from picking up 100 2.38mm SiC balls. If anyone has any specific ideas or things they want me to assess let me know!

Is 80 now the recommended number of balls for the cap? It was 90 on the website now it's back down to 80.

@batteryfreeganz, I just want to confirm before ordering a bespoke cooling stand.... is the Fusion 2.0 cap the same dimensions as the Original Fusion cap?

Looks like the cap is mostly identical size wise, might order a scruffywoofers cooling stand now then. I was waiting to make sure if I get the cooling stand with the OG fusion cap slot that it would work with the 2.0.

Need to do a flavour test now with balls above bowl vs. bowl above balls. See if the heat soak from bowl above balls enhances or diminishes flavour... :sherlock:
