    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

Get an Espion for your ZV2. Red Panda is a fantastic firmware for a Z and only the Espion and Ravage230 are compatible. PM me if you get one and I'll email you my config file. My Zs are still my most used vape and while the Espion is a bit bigger and heavier than the rxg3d it's always been...

Herbie V2 by Vape Engineering - 510 dry herb vaporizer

Good call. @ConvectCode1, tubo_myevic (or whatever he's calling in the Tetra age) is based off the abandoned myevic I was linking and works just as well so any variant you can get the wismec updater to flash is fine

Herbie V2 by Vape Engineering - 510 dry herb vaporizer

I don't think I have the computer I had the myevic.bin file on but it was probably one of these: https://github.com/MicroSur/sur_myevic/blob/master/git_doc_en/usageandcompatibility_en.md https://github.com/ClockSelect/myevic/tree/master/bin You may need to right click on the link and Save As...

Herbie V2 by Vape Engineering - 510 dry herb vaporizer

No advantage and really the same functionality but @ConvectCode1 can't get AF on his rxg3d so any myevic variant would make a good option. You use the wismec firmware updater instead of nfetools too so maybe the install would work for once who knows

Herbie V2 by Vape Engineering - 510 dry herb vaporizer

I mostly used an old version of myevic on my rxg3ds. You might try that or the tubo_myevic if the flaky wismec won't flash AF properly. Only the Joyetech Espion and the Wismec Ravage230 that support Red Panda The Paramour isn't AF compatible. You can see the list of compatible mods here...

Herbie V2 by Vape Engineering - 510 dry herb vaporizer

Do you have either Red Panda mod? I sold all my rxg3ds and started proselytizing for the one true mod (and by one I mean two). While not as compact or light as your flaky wismec, the Espion is under forty bucks shipped from these guys with code MOD15. Highly recommended if one of your other...

I own a Solo II and Tafee Bowle, what should I buy next?

Yeah, even a frisky cat couldn't knock over something as heavy as a Vapbong and the radiant heat when it's on would be more deterrent than risk

Collyland Aromatizer (formerly Vapbong by Art of Vapor)

My first three bottle brush purchases still aren't small enough for the OAB. The VB is easier to get into but I don't have a satisfactory cleaning method for either one yet. The apple cider vinegar is intriguing. Is soapy water really capable on its own without shaking? I can't imagine trying...

I own a Solo II and Tafee Bowle, what should I buy next?

The enano was my only log and I didn't love it. The cheap vvps was hard to read and moved if you bumped it. The available stems were ho-hum and the heater felt like it needed to recover between hits so it didn't last long. Now that I have those collyland pieces I understand the value of a...

I own a Solo II and Tafee Bowle, what should I buy next?

First get a Tinymight and send the Solo II out to pasture. The Tinymight is just automatic on a bubbler and will finish a bowl in two and a half hits if you want. You'll also have one of the most powerful and consistent portables for j-hook use or pocket carry. Wait a week to order: the TM is...

Yeah, I think I'm also more used to the open top of my Splinter stems and j-hooks so the pinched mouthpiece of upline didn't suit me either. You're not the only one who likes it though; no shade intended

Glad it works for you. I had hopes that stem would replace the stock stem (which I only use for vaping out) but I found the cooling inadequate for temp stepping. It'd he great to have something similar with cooling dimples on the inside like XL8R stems but an unadulterated cylinder on the...

Congratulations and welcome to FC. Just a pro tip: a lot of folks like to use a wpa with a j-hook at home. The flavor is better without the stainless steel cooling unit in the vapor path and it also lets you go much longer between cleanings

Thanks for all the answers. I do see the utility of a stem that doubles as both 14 and 18mm wpa and won't roll away. What I still don't get is why the wooden cooling stem is the only wpa on offer. What's inside the wooden cooling stem again? I thought my janky Splinter pic was an easier way of...

How do you store your glass stems, j hooks etc

I keep a half dozen or more cooling stems sitting up in a ceramic tumbler (just a coffee cup with no handle). Put something in the bottom to keep the glass safe. My j-hooks lay along one side of a drawer and are easily more awkward to store even though I only have three of them.

Too close to the campfire yeah, that was me! Have you tried any non mesh coils? Wasn't someone having less hotspotting with just a wire? Agreed but I doubt a top screen diffuser would work well with S&B dosing capsules. Seems like it'd mostly just block the center holes and not get the chance...

Otherwise you can use an... what? I feel like there was more to that sentence. All my glass is 18mm and that's my preference too. I wasn't asking about 18 vs 14 or whether the long CL stem was stable. I was asking why there isn't a short option when the stem's cooling isn't needed. It's like...

Yeah all my V2s were on rxg3ds until I got those Rim C arctic fox and I still miss the second cell even with the smaller V2 heater

My favorite Splinter Z mod is in stock from this site with a small discount code (MyVpro10) to offset some of the shipping @4everpushingaboulder I recommend getting one of these for your new addition if you don't have one yet. The two Red Panda mods are even better than their Arctic Fox...
