As my favorite on demand portable is my Splinter (by far), i would also suggest that you first try to dial in your Z better. IMHO, a cooling Mouthpiece is essential for any Splinter / Splinter Z, if you use the stock Mouthpiece give it a try... Another real on demand Vape is the Sticky Brick...

@Megaton I also have one of the later american made Splinters and as you are in the UK, it could well be that your one is also from vapefiend. Perhaps there was a batch which runs relatively cool because i have to use 45Watt or a bit above to get good clouds and always wondered about the...

I would like to give you my (very subjective) take on this, as i have a similar "vape history". I used quite some Vapes and similr to you, the Mighty is/was one of the few to stay and stand the test of time. I really like my Splinter (earlier us made model) but it took some time to dial it in...

I am completely with you, and there is not much tech in a Splinter. That said, it doesn t really matter to me - i got an original us made Splinter to europe and while the price was high, i use it daily and it is nearly all i wanted the Grashopper to be AND it took also nearly all use away from...

Please don t use pods, i guess that would just complicate things. I like loading the Stem and i like standard connections and modularity so i think it would be great to have a standard 18,8 connection. This would open up for third party stems and such. Just my :2c:

soooo one good thing and one bad thing to talk about regarding my Splinter: 1. i used it the last few days with the cooling Mouthpiece from @VapeFiend.com (not the xl8r) and this is like an I see the light experience. While i liked the Splinter before, i got a bit inconsitent results from it...

What about this little Vape? Very affordable and i quite trust @VapeFiend when he says it is a good one (for the price) but have not used it myself. But it meets your requirements and it doesn thurt so bad if it gets lost...

Nice Thread! Right now, i use my Mighty the most because it fits the situations i vape in and it is practical / just works. It is a bit funny, because i don t love the Mighty most of my Vapes, i think it is quite unsexy... I also use my splinter and omnivap regulary, i like the splinter but...
