I just said that there’s a lot of wobble due to the taper of the simrell stem. You are of course free to do it anyway.

I had major issues with combustion like I said earlier. With default settings preset 1 should only be 340F but it kept heating for much longer. As if I never got the ‘up to temp’ vibration or at least 15-20 seconds heating. Made me so confused and sad. Well I went and changed the presets...

I think what happend was that I was afraid to combust so I must have released the button before the buzz and then heated again which just gave it a double heating with no pulling. Obviously this will create combustion.

Oddly enough it’s working fine now. Starting to really like this thing.

On level one or two it’s the same. Like every other cycle I don’t get the ‘up to temp’ buzz. I do get the ‘im starting’ buzz which indicates the preset. But not the ‘up to temp, you can hit it now’ buzz.

It’s weird because it doesn’t happen every time. So I’m thinking it’s user error?

Question. Sometimes when I press to go I get the first vibration that indicates it’s on and then while holding I don’t get that second vibration indicating it’s ready. It heats too much and I get combustion. Anyone else tried this? Not getting the “up to temp” vibration signal?
