Tried my Glass Cap for the first time last night and I think I broke it, lol. I don't know what the heck happened.
Has anyone ever heard of this : Taking my very first hit from it and something made a LOUD popping sound? The only thing I can think of is that I made a circular screen for it...
@AutomaticYoghurt :
This is exactly how I hold it too, and it is by far far far far far far far and away my most comfortable vape to use I own. It practically wedges itself in place this way to my hand with ZERO stress to any of my fingers or hand, and it's the only device I don't put down...
Leave everything in the stem and dump it in some ISO. Dismantling everything is insane. O-rings cost pennies and I haven't had one degrade yet in 3 years. ISO is liquid, I'm pretty darn sure liquid can find it's way in and around everything in the stem. The only thing I'll say is this, yes...
You don't have to spin it with one finger like he does ya know, lol. Pinch it between your thumb and fore finger and just start twisting. :doh:

Nope, everything is good, it fell out. :) I have good airflow if I just be careful with it now. Somewhere I'm seeing things I think, more than likely it's supposed to be exactly like mine is, I think I'm just having a (long) moment, lol.
Ok, thanks. I thought I've felt mine catch on occasion.
I'll try this at a later date, lol, mines got excellent airflow right now and I don't wanna touch it! The airflow thing isn't gonna be a deal breaker for me especially if I could really baby it and not have it get knocked offline so...
Lol, all I meant was it seemed you gave other answers first in justifying the cost, and atleast to me, it seemed that the fact they got hot was a secondary thought.
These answers:
I think there was just a little confusion between you and I is all. It might not have been a secondary thought...
Mine appears to not work this way. I've watched every video and tried everyone's way of doing it. The problem with just keeping it open and never close it is that mine will not always stay at wide open. There are times it gets moved and even pushing the oven in all the way, I'll have ZERO...
I think you misunderstood my post. :) This answer 👆 is the answer I was looking for. I wasn't putting down the cost, or implying you should discount it........my question really just had to do with why people didn't offer SS ones, because the look of the Ti look awesome and SS ones would allow...
Hey man, what kind of torch is that?
@Justpassedu : Not totally sure what you mean, but after watching one of the videos that John put up he mentions that your supposed to be able to turn the body and the airhole will open or close. I asked a few pages back about this, because mine doesn't do...
How high or low on the Anvil oven are we talking? Huge discrepancy between top or bottom of oven, as you know I'm sure, lol. I usually hit it dead middle, and don't really like to go too much lower than the middle of the oven. Thanks for the vid, appreciate that.
Ditch the Dyna screen and put a courser one in and open the oven a 1/4 to 1/2 turn and you have a ton of airflow. I haven't timed any of my Anvil heat soaks so I don't know if opening the oven is gonna increase the time, but I used it like this all weekend and I really couldn't tell any...
Oh good good good! Finally was able to score something from this thread and that's the one I got. Hopefully has some conduction going on.
Still trying to get the TED Funnel. Does anyone know what the adapter on that one is called so I can look somewhere for it. This one...
