I don't own one of these, but have you tried threading it on just a tiny amount? So there are only 1 or 2 threads holding it on? Or does it not function properly like that? I'm interested in the Fusion but am concerned with what I've heard about thread issues.

I'm assuming a lot of the cost is in that custom PID case. Would be cool if they offered a more economical version.

Happens to mine all the time when I leave the heater sitting on the bowl; it's honey buildup. I put the heater back on the empty bowl and let it warm up, remove the handle and drop it in some iso for a few mins.

Sounds like a delicate balance indeed... I wasn't insinuating that you hadn't considered it, btw. I'm also talking completely out of my ass. Regardless of any changes, I'll be buying one of these soon.

The smearing makes me think the tips of the blades on the lid portion might be too flat. They might be pinning chunks of weed down and dragging them along. Could there be any benefit in making the tips pointier? :2c:

Have to agree with you. Not a fan of the horizontal slits on the side. And If more grip is needed, the slits should be vertical imo. (Edit: just realized the slits are probably horizontal to help with opening the grinder. I meant they should be vertical if grip is needed while grinding). I'm not...

Well aside from what stems people have, my point is, I don't understand the purpose of the new "bowl adapter" section. Seems redundant since the stem is effectively a "bowl adapter" itself. Will wait to hear more though.
