    The Nomad From Morwood

Can't get enough Nomad! Especially when they're like this  What's your wood choice @Ramahs?

Aerogel held in place by heatshrink? You get various colours of heatshrink too. Would look good if done neatly, and few worries re' heat too.

    The Nomad From Morwood

Another beauty! I think a natural green/raw Kraft combo would be what I went for if Dan had felt unable to do the ox-blood red I requested. Looking forward to seeing it's final waxed look . Every-one's a winner baby, that's no lie! He never fails to satify, Dan's our guy! :disgust...

    Herb Grinders

Some food for thought there for sure, thanks man. I'm certain I saw a grinder design where the inner part of the surfaces which concern us here was made a couple of mm thicker to allow a wide groove to be machined into the surface to make most of the gap between the upper and lower grinder lips...

The comments here re' the SLX 2.0 feeling "rough" make me think they must be different to my 1st gen SLX 303 as it doesn't feel rough at all when clean (super smooth in this state). I'm aware that the Cerakote finish is only applied to the grinding chamber of my 303, as opposed to the entire...

Veeery intriguing PP, looks like a landfill fire! Looking forward to seeing what you've been hiding up that sleeve. We're ALL missing something until their new baby launches like one of Elons boosters Wooooooooosh!

Anodising may not "chip" or "peel", but it most certainly CAN wear. How do I know? I have anodised aluminium many times, and have often 'worked' pieces after the anodising process. In fact, I have often acid etched aluminium to introduce a pronounced surface texture, then uniformly coloured the...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Both @Ed's TnT and @Alan have made stems for the Nomad, and I plan to make at least a couple for myself, and if anyone expresses an interest once they've seen them :\, then I might sell a few (trying to raise some cash towards a second Nomad! or maybe just pay some bills :uhoh:).

    The Nomad From Morwood

Dan sent me a sketch of a selection of different stem designs that he had suggested to another sustomer. Typically, can't find it now , but I guess that if you contact @Dan Morrison he'd let you know whether they are still an option. I can't even remember how much extra it was, but it...

    The Nomad From Morwood

I'd imagine that the marginal interest is simply due to there being so few Nomad owners out there so far, and I guess even less that are aware of the stems? The glass stem is very well held, and fairly well protected in the Nomad, but it's definitely good to be able to carry a vape without any...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Welcome, and good choice going with the Nomad . I love mine. Flavour is absolutely first class (the best portable I own in fact). For a 'stick shift' manual convection vape, ease of use is great. Versatility is very very good, as you have a choice of heaters, all of which perform well, and...

    Milaana II by RastaBuddahTao

If you don't have a handy 'thing with hook or loop' to pull the battery tab back into position, consider using a loop of dental floss through a Bic pen tube (or any similar tube) to make a lasso that can be tightened round the errant tab (dog catcher style) to wrangle it back into compliance...

    DaVinci MIQRO

56 QUID! I'm convinced that MUST have been a pricing error. Props to Namaste for honouring that price:bowdown: And well done for snagging it

    DaVinci MIQRO

Wow, that's gotta be a pricing error yeah? Fantastic deal if they honour it. Anyone considering getting a small conduction portable would do well to grab this deal. Well spotted

I've never tried a Milaana 2, but I have two, fairly different Milaana 1. An OG M (hot, quick, can be harsh if you aren't reasonably attentive, but great clouds). And a later Spalted with a 'turbulator' (cooler by far, slightly better flavour than the OG, tamer). So far (I'm only about 20 bowls...

    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

This ^^^^^^ is exactly what I find with my Woodscents too, and pretty much exactly how I use it. My first dimmer cable which came with the WS was one of the small first batch that were faulty (which Ed quickly replaced for everyone). But the replacement, although it seemed to work properly...

LOL, fair enough. Just cellphone snaps, look back at Dan's proper pic's a page or two back for a decent look, but in the meantime here are my poor attempts (sans colour editing, the sleeve is much more 'ox-blood' IRL) This last one came out looking really pink on my screen, prob' the same...

    The Nomad From Morwood

Well, I've just unboxed Nomad #29, and can report that despite my being a complete freak for attention to detail, precision and finish I am delighted with the level of craftsmanship Dan has applied to this little device. It is not hyperbole to say that my own standards for satisfaction from this...
