    Firewood Vaporizer

I'll give you one guess what's been happening to me the last couple of days when out of the house. It may be more of an edge case for others, but that doesn't mean it isn't an issue for some. Sorry, missed this, what metric are you using to define this? I ask cos you've used some dubious ones...

You are correct, there is no way to turn it on/off unless you remove the battery.

You *think* that's the ideal capsule. I'm not saying it isn't, but I really disagree with you speaking with such conviction when this is untested.

    Firewood Vaporizer

Fuck yes. Gave my fw7 case a bit of the ole beeswax when I oiled the vape the other day. Cos my 7 is/was one of my 2 out and abouts, so having a case that'll help me fulfill that (and it doesn't have to be perfect, I'll take mitigation over perfection any day) will make me very happy indeed. I...

    Firewood Vaporizer

As far as vapour goes, less restriction, faster heat up, pretty similar to the 7-8/9 comparison after that - I feel anything after this is going to come down to personal preference. Bowl lid loosened up a TONNE for me. The spring needs a good workout and then it's all good. The only real...

It's what Marc has rebranded it as, it's on the button. F.A.T. == firewood aroma tech.

I flip the adaptor around. Takes less than 30s to readjust it. Have used a silicone dab cap before, but that takes longer to swap. Will probably get a second IH one day, but that feels a lot more like a "want" than a "need" at this stage.

    Firewood Vaporizer

I use mine more as a session device with a bowl taking me around 2mins to cash, although I can do it more quickly if need be (like I have with all my fws). It really does feel like an improved 7, with me liking it more than I did the 8. Performs well with a bowl filled to the intakes, or with...

    The Nomad From Morwood

I think it's at least possible given the timeframe that was given for the next drop of toads.

Marc said the tapered bowl has a 3/8" screen, straight walled 1/2".

The window is stupid handy for knowing when it's ready for the first hit. Does well with a full bowl or just covering the screen. My oven door has loosened up nicely. Loving the economics of the thing too. Is there an on/off button combo? Already hit temp in my pocket couple of times...

    Firewood Vaporizer

See that's how short a time I got to spend with it, haven't even looked at the storage bit yet. That bowl took my head off though and was just bliss. Love a vape with wood in airpath and the fw is easily one of the best in the game, so I was super stoked to see that it looks like it's still the...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Mine arrived today as I was walking out the door for a music festival. Quickly ran a bowl through it. Not a fan of the rattle of the stem, and the oven door is stiff to close. Other than that, what feels like a much quicker heat up and a bit more open airflow (been a while since I've used a FW...

    Tornado by Vestratto

Agreed. Have only combusted once with it when I was dialing it (not counting when I had the defective bowl). Can't say the same for when I use the torch. Don't have to worry about overthinking it, just double click and leave it til it times out.

Hot air rises when no other forces are acting on it... Unless it is a complete seal, its mostly gonna go down the sides. That's how fluids work when under suction, especially when they're not very viscous and easily compressible like air is.
  19. P

    Firewood Vaporizer

No it won't. Unless you get an absolute seal, it will go down even if the path upwards appears to be easier. You have to have a shitload of resistance to force the fluid to go the long route. I had admittedly forgotten that there's capsules with sealed sides, but even then, unless you get a...

I suspect it has something to do with all the vapour that leaks out before it hits temp, but quantify it beyond a suspicion. And I prefer it cos I have ADHD and it's stupid easy to get the same hit every time.
