My Forge RMA request came this week. I shipped it back yesterday. Very easy process.

Using the @ScruffyWoofers adapter pairing the Tornado to a Dovetail dyed box elder burl stem. Going back and forth adding an Omni Mp, but overall enjoying as a 14mm XL stem without Mp.

I added a Dynavap rubber mp to my poker stem. Keeps my fear down of ruining the tip with saliva. Could never get the stock screen in 1/2 bowl position, so I tried a Tempest screen today and it worked perfectly. Holding less now but still a powerful pull. Used daily.

I’d throw caution to preorders. My June preorder still sits in processing and undelivered. I’ve now asked for a refund.

Thank you for this. Makes a lot of sense and thinking back, the original had a power block where this is just a plug in with a pass through. I had an IH that would behave totally different with a slightly different power supply. Looking through my drawer of power supplies now.

Couple of shares from my experiences. 1st, against popular opinion, but I’m not a fan of the SH v3 MP. And really after using, I’d be more of a fan of using a mp requiring the grommet. You have to remove the MP any way so probably be better cutting the stock MP top off and tethering. Seems...
