I typically shy away from 1st-Gen. stuff ... don't like to be a Beta guinea pig. But, $100, delivered, for such a handsome looking unit ... a battery/portable one ... is tempting. Not much info. available. Does it come with a charger, for example? (it must, no?). Is Toggen Gear a USA company?

Your first DynaVap? If it's the new 20M model, it should have the little crimps near the bottom of the cap that prevent the cap from falling off. If you can hold the unit upside and shake it gently, and the cap just jiggles around but doesn't fall off, it's proper. It should allow for good...

With thoughts of some 19M's SS tips having issues with their grooves being out-of-spec (too shallow), I wonder if some of the 20M tips are out-of-spec and too meaty. I got one (haven't used it yet) and the overall look is not so impressive to me. The facets look pretty minimal, not cleanly...
