I never think much about optimal battery charge / preservation. I just plug mine in every other day and leave it about five hours or so, even if it's still got a few bars left. Is there a way you're supposed to treat the 18650s?

Ok.. not sure why you're so vexed. Relax. We're talking about vapes here not life and death. I think the vape performs nicely. But it's at it's best in session mode at full temp. Give it a few puffs to get it going and draw slowly for about 6 seconds finger on the button. Take your finger...

Ok. I do use an IH, but I can vary the depth that the tip sits in the IH with a silicon disc. Higher up the cap for a quicker click..

I just never got the point of them. If I want a lower temp hit I heat higher up the cap for an earlier click, imho What am I missing?

The more I use this vape the more impressed I am. Definitely revising my earlier doubts. In session mode at full temp, with a few cigar puffs to get it going, and a nice slow draw it can really put out some big clouds. I get maybe 4 really nice hits and the herb is perfectly extracted and...

What would be your perfect portable dry herb vape?

I think if induction heaters can get smaller and smaller. Maybe something like a car cigarette lighter size. That and a dyanavp will be as good as you can get

Ah yes. sorry, I won't go off topic here.. don't think it's available in the UK yet. But seems to have the things I like in the V3 in a more appealing form.

The fury edge ones fit. Its fine with, but I think you get a little bit extra performance without. Whether this justifies the ease and not having to clean the chamber (mouthpiece and top screen still needs cleaning) is up to you..

Yes it does seen to be what I asked for! I hadn't realised it was coming otherwise I might have gone for this. it doesn't seem to be around yet in the UK.
