    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

Got my SSV back last week. It's really hitting great. I find that it difficult to draw slow with such a large diameter hose; I fold the hose like a garden hose, and I let my grip relax, releasing the fold in the hose a bit, and I'm able to get a real slow controlled draw.

That's my life. When I get the black one back I'm looking forward to telling you folks how great it is.

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I bought a a black SSV discounted from vapeusa (I couldn't afford one otherwise). When I got it, it was not working. I called vapeuse and told them what had happened; they sent me another SSV that was blue. The blue SSV left my greens green. I pulled up the heating element on the blue SSV...

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I must be missing something but...How is it that so many people love the SSV's. It's fragile, temperamental, inconsistant and expensive. It's like an old girlfriend I used to date.

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

Being disabled and reclusive, I've got notin' but time, I love the long session, but like you, if I jack any desktop I got to high, I can't handle more than a 5 sec rip even with a water tool (the vapor's way too thick). I put my SSV on high, I'm lucky to get a wisp of vapor if I don't first...

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I'm with you...Mine probably has such a nice case so it looks good on the shelf. I'm so upset. What a let down.

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I pulled up the heating element, and it seems to have stayed and not retracted when I put the cover on it. It's rideing about a 1/4 inch from the top of the cover. I did a session and while the ABV is slightly darker, I have to run it on full power to get mediore results. About the...

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I have a Arizer V-Tower and a Vapir Rise. From what I heard the SSV, it is the best whip vaporizer: I bought a SSV figuring it would be great. MY SSV is a great disapointment. After I'm done vaping with my SSV, I put the ABV in my V-Tower at 185F and can get five more heavy hits; the herbs...

    NimbinVap

After reading different people's comments on the NimbinVap, I would conclude that using the vaporizer requires a lot of practice/dexterity. While I love vapes that don't use electricity or battery, I have MS, and my hands shake and are spastic sometimes. Is the opening, where the heat is...

    Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

Sounds logical. Make sure it's the same thickness as the original. I think (not much)...They may sell them in different thicknesses (I can't think of the right word...I know it's not width. I can't figure out the word for "thickness." Anyone buy new tubing: Where, size, how much? Please. I...

    Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

Does anyone know the ID (inside diameter) OD (outside diameter) of the silicone tubing the Rise takes. I think $10 for 40" may be a bit excessive. If anyone knows a reputable seller, of the tubing, on Amazon or Ebay please pass it on. Thanks

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

Thanks for the info. I know nothing about electronics. My decision is: Less expensive NO2 v2 or Solo. They both have their positives and negatives. The NO2 doesn't seem to live much past its 1 year warranty, while my old solo, in need of new battery, is limping well past its warranty. I do...

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

Tere- I'm kind of in the same boat. I have a NO2 v1 that burns herbs. I could recycle it to Vapir and get a new unit at a discount (I assume $75) from the manufacturer. ...OR... I can buy a new Solo for $150, and not have to mail a used unit to Vapir (which is kinda sketchie).

    Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

Gino- I've been meaning to ask: I don't know if I would even feel any effect with that small amount of herb. Can you give me a rundown of your preparation for a session on the Rise? For example: Do you use a bag or whip, what temperature do you vape at or do you climb to 420. I know it...

    Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

draak-Does any of the alternate herbs, you use, have any markable positive effects. Doc- The big bowl comes in handy for re-vaporizing used herb. After a long day of twitching and spascity from MS, a nice big bowl of used herb cuts the pain and helps with sleep. Just repacing one of my...

    Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

The Rise has a huge bowl, and it's easy to feed it. I'm medicated if I just cover the bottom with herbs. You may have a higher tolarance. I try to use the same amount in all my vaporizers. A small scoop weighed out to .1-.2 grams. I use the same amount of herb in my Arizer Solo, Davinici...

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

I have a No2 v1, and it does not work on battery power. I contacted Vapir, and they said they wont take it for a trade in because it wasn't broken it just needs a new battery. The cost of the battery is about $40. I can buy a new battery, or I can save the money for a different vaporizer...

    Discontinued Vapir NO2

Vapir says let the bowl heat up to temperature before you put in your herbs. I assume that it's like a frying pan, if you put food into a cold pan then heat it, the food will stick to it, and you have to scrape it off. If you heat the pan first and then put in your food the pan's easy to clean...

    Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

Call Vapir. When I called them for a mouth piece leaking vapor, they sent me a new one (no questions asked). I didn't even have to send them the old one for inspection. Vapir has been real good to me.
