Raw material costs as well as the other costs. Yes, very competitive vape market. But really just curious on the cost to buy the raw materials and assemble the product.

No issues with my V3 cap really. Just the heat/pressure crack above the battery.

Even if Vivant has their own factory where the vapes are produced, their provider of plastics doesn't provide strong enough plastics, period!

Somebody made a mod mouthpiece with glass for their alternate. Might be posted in this thread several pages in. If you do some searching you might be able to find it.

Cosmetic or not, that's a piece on the device where u don't want users to have to replace so soon.

I just took the piece of clear rubber/silicone out of my V3 top cap to get a good vapor path. My first alternate cracked after 3 weeks and they gave me a new one. After 5 weeks with my new warrantied Alternate, the piece above the battery where the top cap locks in is now developing...

That link on Puff it up showing the Alternate all opened up is legit! Good to know what is underneath the hood! Based on the looks of how the piece above the battery that many users are experiencing cracks, it seems like Vivant could just offer little rescue packs that come with a replacement...

Actually just cleaned my V3 top cap the other day and it was super easy. Disassemble the top cap and soak all the individual pieces in ISO for 20 minutes and afterwards use some precision q-tips to scrape out the muck, whether the muck be resin or just some sticky solution that is built up...

Ivan at Vivant is the man. He helped me out for my warranty! Does anyone know if using a Crafty top cap instead of a V3 top cap on an Alternate is better at not absorbing too much heat? My Alternate mouthpiece gets super super hot even at a 392° sesh.

When you use the V3 top cap the way it is intended to be used, you do in fact hear a snap that doesn't sound good when locking and unlocking the top cap from the chamber. I removed the clear rubber piece and now it is fine.
