    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Just about sums it up. Im no fanboy of anything, I've been through a shitload of herb vapes in the past 18 months and the GH is the first that despite a few minor gripes has been the one that I go to now every time and all my other vapes became redundant. Can also confirm that losing it for...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Yes, I noticed that. Too many contradictions that go against my personal experience. I've tried all sorts of grind and can safely say that course grind, loosely packed, no more than 0.1g will provide the biggest clouds and hit the hardest. Fine grind was useless in comparison. The mind boggles....

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

As far as I can remember this is the first time I've ever seen him overlay the video with a title saying "lighting enhanced vapor" too which looks like a deliberate attempt to play down the vapor this thing can produce. It is almost like he's not even trying to hide the level of disdain he has...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

lol they are shorter than the hopper but much thicker diameter. I favour front jeans pocket if i want to give the impression that im hung like a horse :D Seriously though, a loose pocket or man bag as I carry other ecig related vape gear around anyway and if I'm out for the night in an...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I use Vapefiends Budgie bubbler or micro bomb regularly when out and about. Only cost £29, work really effectively and fit in my pockets without too much trouble. I just carry or buy a small bottle of mineral water to fill it with when needed.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

@newVaper420 The Ti hopper cools quicker than the SS, at temp 3-4 mark I can hit repeatedly with 5-10 seconds in between and do a bowl in 3-5 biggish hits without too much trouble. The silicone tip helps for sure. The key is to toggle the on/off clicker between hits by turning off a second or...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

This Vape Critic dude has looked at the GH from completely the wrong angle. It is NOT a session vape, if you try to use it as such then of course it will get hot and uncomfortable. He doesn't get the form factor or why it looks like a pen - well that's a bit obvious for anyone with a modicum of...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

@tristanstravels I knew I cant be the only person thinking this does what it needs to do for me I had better get another just in case :D My new charger arrived today, I checked it and put it away for away days only. At home I will continue to charge my 3 batteries externally on rotation from...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

@tristanstravels Exactly that, I have 3 other vapes, a Crafty, a Storm and a Flowermate v5.0s but they just dont compare. For me, even though it is of course subjective and having been without my hopper while it was in for warranty, I just don't want to be in that position again if I can help...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Also, forgot to add that Vapefiend are the European authorised vendor for Hopper Labs and sell from and do warranty claims in London. They were out of stock of Hopper batteries yesterday but would be a lot cheaper and more convenient for you to deal with a European company for your Hopper...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

@tristanstravels I only vape nicotine based e-liquid in ecig vapes and dry herb in herbal vapes so have zero knowledge of concentrates so am probably not the right person to ask. Speak to the lads at @VapeFiend.com for concentrate and dabbing advice, they have a facebook page and are very...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

^^this. Any generic Li-Ion charger will charge the Hopper batteries. It doesnt have to be all singing, all dancing and digital to do the job, Just something that is capable of charging in an emergency (when the hopper charger breaks down). Most if not all electronic stores will sell said...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

@delloy Yes purchased and supplied from Vapefiend. They are only doing warranty work in house for purchases from them currently. Same issue mine had on my first warranty claim. The front end needed replacing due to a heater malfunction.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

It isn't handy, it's a complete ballache to be honest. It is however safer for the Hopper and better for the batteries to charge externally in a more regulated environment. Personally, I just like the option of both depending on needs at the time.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I have 3 batteries and a Nitecore D4 so charging externally is no big deal for me. I can live without the included usb charger and would be happy to do so however it is covered by warranty so is worthwhile getting it sorted in the long run. All sorted now anyway. I have confirmed via my mates...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Yes, you're probably right. I am being a bit impatient. It's because I know it will have to go back to @VapeFiend.com for warranty so I see the delay in waiting for Hopper Labs to authorise that as a bit unnecessary but can see why they want to keep track of warranty claims and failure rates...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I wouldnt hold your breath. I sent my warranty support request last Friday and they are yet to even read my ticket. I will give it until tomorrow and if still the same will contact @VapeFiend.com again as Hopper labs are letting them down with support it would seem.

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

It's a myth, tried and tested long before my charger died. Even at max temp (5) the battery will only drain as low as 3.75v before flashing red for recharge. This is good for safety as the Hopper is not allowing the battery to deplete to dangerous levels and also ensuring no depletion in output...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I'd go as far as to say that charging externally with a quality charger will most certainly be better for battery longevity too over using the standard GH usb charger continually. My charger has failed incidentally after 2 months and a warranty claim has been submitted.

The Nitecore D series digital chargers do exactly that too for each cell being charged. mAh, time on charge and voltage viewable at all times.
