So I just got my new ascent in the mail after my last one stopped working. Just wanna make sure I'm doing everything correctly. Wipe down with qtip/alcohol - charge for 6 hours and do 2x 20 min burn offs at 430? Anything else?

Da vinci needs to start telling the community what is causing these heating problems etc - it's expensive for Europeans and Canadians to spend 30-50 in shipping every time something goes wrong.

So I let the ascent run out of battery to the point it wouldn't turn on (2days). Turned it back on with charger and still doesn't heat up. Will try with full charge in a few hours. But looks like this didnt fix shit :)

Still waiting on the battery to die to see if it helps with the heating problem. Da vinci better send me a croc skin or carbon to replace this stealth. Stealths easily have the highest failure rating :(

I would hope in 2014 everything would have a factory reset type command to purge any data etc. if there isn't they should definitely consider adding it.

So as I said my ascent stopped heating up yesterday. I'm leaving it on all night and day (just LCD in timer mode) to drain the battery and than I'll recharge it overnight and if it is a battery software issue (which it seems like maybe) it should work after the battery is completely drained and...

So it's 11pm pacific on a Saturday and MY ASCENT JUST DIED!!! Meaning it won't heat up at all. Just shows 73f. Tried plugging it in shows charging but still no heat increase...anyone have any ideas? Or how I should go about returning/replacing this unit? I'm in canada. It's a stealth 1aa1. So...
