Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I wasnt trying to throw New Vape under the bus or anything - I figured it was easy for them to get the dnail 5 pin coils but I thought NV said there were other pinouts of the same fitting so I figured it was more of a way to avoid having the possible issue of some stupid asshole buying the coil...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

Okay so a few pages back when having the coil discussion I had mentioned an amazon listing that I used for a 20mm dnail pinout coil for 42$ after shipping...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I was originally thinking the air pocket created from the upside down dish would add thermal mass to the head. I hadnt considered the SiC might be actually helping dissipate heat off of the titanium. I guess we would need that inline thermometer at screen height to be installed, then take pulls...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I was just mentioning I saw they switched after 3 torch versions to an enail version recently which I found interesting considering the success and popularity of the FP. Like they are trying to take a page out of the NV book. Idk why I said that about derailing the thread. :vaped: I love...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

Not to derail the thread but I saw the supreme V4 is actually made to work with an enail....my guess is the saw how the FP was selling and figured they should try and jump in on a similar design.

    Volcano

Been ripping through MMJ with the Flowerpot since July. Recently bought some Hemp buds, like 16 or 17% CBD and a tiny amount of THC, but loaded with terps and some other cannabinoids. Im finding I vastly prefer the hemp buds through the volcano. It tastes better, and (especially now that i...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

@Tommy10 Are you dabbing off it or just doing flower hits for now? The dish really will only effect performance for dabs. For flower hits you really wouldnt even need it in there necessarily. In fact flipping the dish upside down might even help with heat retention for flower hits due to the...

    Volcano

:science: It blows apart like the solid valve for full cleaning! I hear you arent supposed to use iso on the plastic bits though.

    Volcano

 flower quality is certainly not an issue in my case at least. It just comes down to different strokes for different folks! It would seem the capsule/reducer softens the vapor which helps your sensitive lungs. Side note - the solid valve really doesnt get the love it deserves for...

    Volcano

I bought the reducer and capsules and tried it once and probably will never use it again. The vapor production was way down, the temp had to go way up, and I dont have the smallest/most gentle fingers so taking them apart is kind of a bitch. All of that and to be honest I'd never had an issue...

To me that looks like a 3.5 wrap. You need one more full wrap from there. No idea what the pinout on an auber is though

I also have a classic, and while the FP has taken its place as my DD, I've never been able to replicate the consistent, accurate low temp bags I can pull from the volcano, so typically the volcano gets used when I have people over or in the morning or before going out when I want specific low...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I had said just this a month or 2 ago and someone told me that you lose some thermal conductivity by not being able to screw the insert down, like you do with the VROD dishes, so for the insert to work you would have to have it turned up way high. Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think anyone...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

The only thing I have to add re showerhead coils is, some of the lower end/chinese 20mm coils have too large of an outer diameter to fit the coil cover. I have 3 coils here that all turned out to be a smidge to large for the coil cover to go over it. Obviously you can use it without the coil...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

This coil is from the amazon listing I posted. Correct me if I'm wrong but if the pig tail counts, then this coil is VROD compatible. Clockwise wrap as well, unless the FP is doing its job better than I thought. (LMK if pic link doesnt work. Been having trouble with them)

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

So according to the NV site, for the original VROD it should be 20mm clockwise wrap, with 5 wraps. The pics on @710Coils site has 4.5 by my count (out of stock anyways). How important is that last .5-1 wrap? Or is that not an exact picture of the coils? I found an XLR pinout, clockwise wrap, but...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

Well if that is the case, that does make it seem slightly less stupid because now I know the origins whereas before I thought someone just pulled it out of their stoned ass. But I still dont really "like" it Double decker or stack actually gives a reasonable mental image too especially when...

    Volcano

Cool, well if it works it works! No matter how you heat it up, it definitely is much more effective warm/hot. I never even use salt, everything just comes right off with a little agitating.

    Volcano

Yeah maybe I'm overplaying the danger factor...the double boiler I would consider with an electric stove but I would be too weary to stick 99% iso in the microwave I think. Does the bag expand at all while in the microwave?

    Volcano

Man you guys are ballsy with your heat up methods of iso. Microwave and double boiler on a stove? I just turn on my faucet to the hottest it will go (steaming - will burn your hand easy) and let my closed iso bottle sit with the super hot water running over it and in a couple minutes it's good...
