    Discontinued Ghost MV1

Washing with soap or detergent seems like a bad idea. If you want to get odors out of just about anything try soaking it in a solution of water and baking soda. It's a weak base with almost no potential to be harmful or corrode the materials but it's very good for neutralizing odors.

On Demand, Portable, Good Draw Resistance, Flavorful, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use

I've had a v2 for about a year and a Z for a month. My advice is buy the non-custom Z. I have no artistic flair and don't care about the type or color of the wood. As others have said, with its bigger heater the Z takes longer to warm up but it can support a faster draw. With the v2 I had to...

cost of flower vs equiv mg concentrate?

I live in Washington state where prices are some of the best in the country ( Oregon is cheaper). Top shelf flower goes for $175 to $250 per oz. You can occasionally get very low quality flower at $100 per oz. Concentrate goes for $45 to $75 per gram. A specific example I pulled from the web...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

@RBTcole , do you know if more cooling stems will become available? I would like to pick up a Z to go with my regular Splinter but only if I can get a cooling stem as well. I hesitated last week (or was it the week before) and missed the last stem...

Pakalolo has a point that in the forums it's common place to mention China as the explanation for why something is lower quality. We should all keep in mind that China builds rockets, submarines, stealth fighters, super computers, iPhones. Note I'm not intending to go into politics, just...

    Renaming this forum "Forget Combustion"

Here is another vote, that I understand nobody cares about :) , for changing the name of this site. There is so much good information here, it's a shame that it's hidden behind a name that is hard to take seriously. I was giving the name of this site to a cannabis co rep the other day and...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

So, with my recent replacement xl8r stem I ordered some rimless basket screens to try a deeply placed basket with a rimmed basket top. I expected the rimless basket would friction fit inside the ground part of the joint but it doesn't. The fit is tight at the opening of the joint and the...

Thanks Summer, I've seen references to the Stempod o-ring but didn't understand its purpose. I'm curious to try an o-ring with a Splinter stem but suspect it will cause as much new aggravation as it solves. I'm sure there's a reason it's not the standard practice. Vgoodiez got my replacement...

    Discontinued Ghost MV1

First hit on google: https://www.google.com/search?q=registration+ghostvapes.com&oq=registration+ghostvapes.com "GHOST provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser (“Customer”) on the GHOST MV1 Vaporizer (“Device”), against defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 2...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

So, I tipped my mod the other day and my beautiful xl8r stem fell out and broke... sigh. Using with the stock short stem definitely confirms for me that you need a cooling stem (already ordered). Has anyone made a friction sleeve or o-ring for stems that holds them in place? Maybe a clip? Of...

Here is the wifes equipment, she's a fan of pink\rose as you can see. This is my first try at posting an image here, excuse all the edits. As you can see the Iphone is a true rose color where the Ghost is more of a copper.

Thanks Alex3oe, I thought Arizer stems were narrower. I'll have to look into that. It turns out I do have a tube I forgot about that looks just like the picture @cybrguy posted. It was the container for a glass syringe of distillate I haven't finished yet. Perfect size for the long XL8TR...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

Does anyone sell silicon end caps that would hold a load in place when leaving the house? How about plastic transport tubes to protect the stems when empty? Interested in these for both the standard and long XL8TR stem. I found "silicon blanking caps" with 18mm inside diameter online but not...

Show your Li-ions you love them

Completely true, but then on the other hand new batteries cost all of $8 each. If extending the life is evenly slightly inconvenient it isn't worth it to me. If I had $8000 worth of them in my car I would feel differently. It depends on your usage pattern whether the cost saving is worth...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

My new v2 has the dot. As others mentioned RBT came up with a new technique for connecting the screens and so old stock will have it but the very newest stock (in the future?) won't. It has no impact on functionality.
