    TinyMight / TM 2

It's much much safer than not removing the battery from a device in thermal runaway... It should be harmless to remove the cells while running.

Is my volcano digit repairable? Doesn't heat up unless i warm it over the stove first, getting worse.

Money spent on tools is never wasted, you have new tools! If only my wife would understand this.... Yeah, I have no idea if you can save it. The other poster mentioned a cold solder joint, I'm not sure about that as they usually show up early in the lifecycle rather than after years of usage...

I'm with Shit Snacks on this, I can see how it might work but it just seems.... untidy. One of the things I love about the TM is how the unit stays so clean. I've only wiped mine with a QTip once or twice this year.

There are a ton of ball vapes. What are my options?

This write up is 6 months old but probably as current as you'll find from a reviewer: https://420vapezone.com/heavy-hitting-vapes/ . More recent vapes include the Zeal (known for being best at it's low price point) and Ω from Cloud Connoisseur. Here is an FC thread...

That's just barely in the acceptable range, but would likely be fine. You can ignore the "peak" value, what matters is the continuous max, which is 8 A in this case.

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

If you are after the glass tubing with ground glass joint you can pick those up at glass blower supply stores, eg LampWorkSupply, for a couple of dollars. This is how most glass blowers get the joints they attach to things since they are a nuisance to make by hand.

Normally a balanced BMS is recommended but that doesn't apply here since you are planning to charge with that RC charger that has balancing built in. Balancing only applies to charging, it ensures that current flow into each cell is managed independently to charge each one to it's maximum...

It has to match the battery, 2S in this case. If you aren't familiar with the lingo 2S stands for 2 cells in series. You can tell the cells are in series from the 7.4 V output (each Li Ion cell is 3.7 nominal voltage).

I don't know anything about that charger but will assume it has the charging aspect covered. You should still have a BMS to protect the battery from short circuit scenarios and over-discharge. Letting the battery go below 6.5 V will stress and prematurely age it, going below 5.0 V can kill it...

I have that stem and yes they wiggle a little bit when clean. This is necessary to give them some room for expansion when they get hot.

I mean this nicely, but are you sure this project is within your capabilities? What you are missing is a Battery Management System (BMS). You need one of those to control charging and discharging of that battery. It's critically needed for safety. Most people start with a BMS and a battery...

    Tinymight2 Stainless Steel Custom Body

That is very cool looking, nice work. I'm not sure a metal body makes sense in terms of functionality, but the aesthetic is great.

    TinyMight / TM 2

I had a fun new experience with my TM this week. My new Glass Charlie cooling stem and dosing capsules arrived so I took them for a "spin". Well, it turns out that when a stem and capsule are clean and brand new the rush of incoming air can produce an unbalanced turning force on the capsules...

    Discontinued G43 and SledGhammer

I have not. I run mine at 3.6 - 3.7 V so a sled version would be too hot for my preference, mod driven should be possible.

    Discontinued G43 and SledGhammer

Some of that information is in this thread, near the beginning, but I've never seen a complete breakdown. The 18mm slide with handle is somewhat unique and not something you will find easily. It's so small that it really needs that handle. Wrap the glass rod in stainless steel wire to a...
