No, it's 7.42mm above the cloud. It seems the problem is that the gong hole in the tube isn't round. I can 'wobble' the tube almost half an inch at the mouthpiece, and the wobble axis follows the tube if I spin it atop the cloud. My dry tube still fits perfectly snug.
