Flix coil adjustment.. lowered enough for nil combustion 2seconds past the click after 4+ heating cycles. Beforehand at the click it was abit too hot for my liking, and was combusting 2-3seconds past the click. Likely just me and old habits, on the old IH I could go a good 5seconds past the...

Not sure how to get hold of him nowdays either, I got my peice through ALT.. best part of a decade+ ago. Plus I live just a few km away.. across the pond. Been eyeing Mobius's shop, they blow downstems which would fit spot on.. but OOS on the Matrix.

For battery saftey.. Ex. for single 18650's 3.7v 20A.. iirc 18650 tops out at ~4.2v. Ohms Law, v=IR, (v=AΩ).. 4.2v & 20A, will give you a resistance of .21Ω.. so playing with resistances any lower on an unregulated mod would not be wise with little electrical knowledge.. 4.2v / .4Ω (average...

These whip adapters work nice with the stock stem too..

@Chandler i've had the same issues with older profiles.. I found the warning would appear if the resistance was locked too far out to the true atomiser cold resistance. Try the profile I posted above, "Measure Ohms," check "Locked" (at ambient temp,) and then match the rest + extend "Puff Time"...

Your Escribe looks little different.. maybe an old version? I've highlighted where you can load a new profile. Also highlighted where you can measure the cold resistance.

The DNA setup is pretty simple. Download Escribe -> Connect mod -> Load the following profile -> Reset and lock resistance to cold resistance -> Extend fire button to 20secs -> Thats it, export. For the Splinter, change watts to 40w and punch to 50w, and follow as above. Its worth it:tup:

Having really good results with half the CU, acting just as a basket really. Less draw restriction resulting in less heated stem and unit itself.. vapour slightly hotter, but not overly, pretty cool to be fair compared to a hot stem. Seems more efficent too, im getting a few more good clouds...

Looks like there is a variation in finishes..

Have used VTC5a & 25R.. not really noticed much difference. Starting to have fun with the session mode :p ..

Only had my TM half a day, but so far pretty impressed. More so to how tiny this vape is with the short stem. The CU is really simple but works great, easy to dismantle & maintain. It can give huge rips for it size, its pretty much half the size of the Z + mod and fits really well in the hand...
