As an update.. I went ahead and ordered a classic walnut directly from VG. They gave me a 10% off coupon along with extra screens, wire cleaners and mouth piece. All that for $49 shipped. Price was too good to pass up.

I'll most likely use a regular lighter too because that's exactly what my girlfriend is used to.

Thanks for the input. I'll most likely get one just because they're so cheap and resemble traditional smoking the most. Also as you say, very durable. As mentioned, this is a secondary/tertiary vape that I'll just be leaving over at my girlfriend's house so I don't want to plunk too much coin on it.
