    Ed's WoodScents Log Vape - Ed's TnT

I haven't done it although I also heard of using beeswax with some drops of oil. The advantage with using the beeswax is that it will solidify after it cools down and won't spill.

So...I actually was not aware of this and wanted to get a Hex-Nail controller. I didn't think I needed the barrel coil that comes with the unit but I guess I'm glad it comes with one now. Thanks for the heads up!

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

#1 - I haven't thought about trying this on the VC although I definitely will. My first vaporizer was a FW4 and I tried this with the capsule loaded in the FW4 and naturally, abv dust got on the inside of the unit. Then, with the GH, blowing into it was a big no no. Point being, I guess I just...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

I appreciate your responses. I'm by no means new to the PS (I think I actually got mine a bit before you got yours...nothing meant by that, just giving you a timeframe as to how familiar I am with it). I have definitely tried all of the different variables (even sanded down the dowel some)...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

I guess that's what I was meaning though...don't have to stir\fold\etc with the torch. And maybe that's just trade-off with using the induction heater, just curious if my experience is to be expected or if I could tweak my ps so it fully extracts without the need to stir or anything. Well...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

I believe the document shows you need a 20a battery. That may be better for the batteries but I won't be taking off 4 screws and remove the 3 batteries every time I need to charge them. I love my 4bay charger and it may be better but having to take those screws out (and the batteries) would be...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

I don't mean to offend, but the uneven heating results in the area closest to the screen not getting as dark as the the rest. This is the area that is hard to extract fully. I feel I know my unit quite well  The abv will be a light yellow to very dark brown/black (screen side to bottom of...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

Hey @Pipes got a question for ya. So while I love the shit out of my Portside, I still feel the torch can get me a fuller extraction (get to where I'm not getting any additional vapor with PS, pull out torch and get an additional two hits)...which didn't make sense considering how I can combust...

Very true, never thought about losing cannabinoids in the process. I've never liked having ice in my rigs BUT I also kind of like the 'bite' or 'punch' from a big hit. Plus, ice raises the water level throughout session which can be kind of annoying.

For those that find the 700f+ temps a bit warm...has anyone tried to cool their water with a bit of ice to compensate?

Depending on the original grind, sometimes the smashing helps break it down after it has been vaped a bit. Perhaps I misspoke lol...I do stir the abv load before tamping it back down with the end of the pax tool. I just find the tamping/smashing helps distribute the load back out after...

Instead of taking mine out of the bowl, I take my NV Pax shovel and use the handle end to smash the abv while still in the bowl (the stiff, double weave screen provides a sturdy enough bottom) to finish the load off. But yeah, think we are right there together on use.

How large of a load ya talking bout? How many draws does it take to clear that load size at 635f? I'd like to get a 'base' when testing later :science:

For me to achieve full extraction (on small loads), with the cap, I need to be around 700-710. I was doing this testing last night and need to do more but on those 600-650f hits, I'd suck the ABV out with my Vapcap and got at least 2-3 hits everytime. On 710f, I could get full extraction in one...

    Gear Slug .33 Rosin Forge

Welp, looks like I'll just have to put this method to the test this evening and see what I come up with. It's pretty exciting lol well as long as it is producing SOME rosin...I'm sure if it wasn't producing anything I'd be less excited Ouch! That's no fun at all...Wish you a speedy recovery!

    Gear Slug .33 Rosin Forge

Not sure if you have one but as far as the tighter shaft...I'm not sure the tolerances could be too much tighter than what they are now, imo. I'm faiy certain my leakage came from the bigger torch, the squish was also runnier than what I see in videos when it first started the drop-down. We'll...

NICE! I'll definitely give this a shot on my next press...(stop enticing me haha) Thanks for looking into this.

    Gear Slug .33 Rosin Forge

Makes sense on the fork. On the backing plates, are they being made with a right angle (or thick enough) that they will stand on their own? That's the only complaint I have with using a coin is having to hold it all there until it gets tightened. A plate that stood on its own would be awesome...

    Gear Slug .33 Rosin Forge

I got my Deuce in and have done two presses (well, three but I'll explain) so far and been fairly pleased. Using an old vice similar to the ones used in the @Nattybushdoctor videos, just probably older than me. What is cool is that the backing plates are large enough for even the Deuce, granted...
