I just picked up the new DIY neo repair kit:
https://www.prrllabs.com/products/diy-neo-repair-kit
I am glad to have this for future-proofing. I want my neo to keep running for a long time.
I believe the wireless kit linked above is:
Omega
Armor coil
PID controller
Rubies
Bowl
Wireless handle
PID enclosure (hold the coil too)
I am not sure I understand. I added the kit to my cart and didn't see at other charges? I did not check out though.
Preorders for full kits are up in the CC store now:

Also pre-orders for a couple of brand new wireless kits. One even has the Armor coil...
Lots of people have. Mostly it seems like colors that are off from the spec, but also some have tooling marks. If you look at the BCG thread you will see a lot of examples.
I have it as well, and I love it. It's got great function although it takes a reasonable pull to get it going.
It really encourages a big dab so I end up overdoing it compared to other nails. But it's my current favorite. I suspect I will like it even more with the UTHS.
The first ones will be shipping out this week! So we should see a few more real world reviews. Sadly I'm in the second batch but I'll share my thoughts when I finally get it.
It sounds like your settings aren't the default. For example, the default lower limit is 100F. So your PID should shut off at that temperature. Did you happen to pick it up secondhand?
Here is the manual, which includes viewing and setting the LL...
You should put a probe in your bowl. I want to see it! I don't think it will tell you anything useful about vaping, but it would be neat. I'd suggest a high temperature k-type thermocouple. Ideally not the immersion kind, but that will be close enough.
My advice to everyone using a PID controller driven ball vape is to ignore the numbers relative to anything else. Just think of higher is hotter, but it's not useful to compare even between different vapes on the same PID, let alone the estimated bowl temperature. There are frankly too many...
It's well worth getting an Instagram account to communicate with the many artists there, but 508phineas ( @Vlad the Inhaler ) now also has a website: https://pyrotechglass.bigcartel.com/
I don't think I can make anything happen even if Mike were here at my house. Obviously a device that makes batteries wet should not be sold in the first place but I have no control over the actions of others.
I mean I would be pretty unhappy if I had the wet batteries. Those should not be sold as they are a safety hazard. If they cause a short and cause a fire I doubt the disclaimer on Vgoodiez website would protect either of them from a lawsuit.
Looking on the phase3 site, it seems to be using the very popular XMT 7100 controller. There are lots of builds using this PID, including Cannabis Hardware and Cloud Connoisseur. You can find them all over Ali too.
