Found this article (most relevant ones seem to be behind pay walls): https://buffalonews.com/can-the-pioneer-spirit-of-entrepreneurs-survive-new-yorks-rocky-cannabis-rollout/article_2f19b69d-cfc6-5a95-a13c-1549de2af5a8.html "Growers have had to scramble to preserve cannabis flower it had...

I'm curious who was going to supply the NYS storefronts if the roll out proceeded on time? I was under the impression NYS hemp growers got priority when applying for cannabis grow licenses.

Are you certain? Where did all the NY weed go? (Maybe washed for concentrates?)

Wonder if lower illicit prices are due to NYS farmers unloading crops targeted for the legal market, but forced to push onto the grey market due to store roll out delays? If so, are the grey market prices for high quality flower "real" or desperation resulting from the delay?

    The Toad from Morwood

I'm absolutely convinced that vaping flower (including plant material) produces different (and superior) effects when compared to concentrates. Some concentrates are better than others IMHO, but flower produces the best effects overall. I can't put my finger exactly, but there's something to...

Anyone out there ready to start the inevitable SS BCG vs OMD comparison thread? Someone have both yet?

Discreet, stir-free, portable vaporizer with replaceable battery ?

I believe I've only ever stirred my TM2 once, and that was early on so I could mess around with the built-in tool. I imagine if you're using a large amount of material in the stem there could be a benefit to stirring in some cases. For me it's definitely not needed at all. Good luck!

    TinyMight / TM 2

Agree with other member comments on TM2 regarding the sipping use case. It may not be ideal, but the unit is pretty flexible. For example, the fast on demand heat up is conducive to short, intermittent sessions. Additionally, leaving partially vaped herb in a bowl can make cleaning more...

    Stem loaded devices

I sort of the like idea since I recently started a thread asking about the easiest to maintain vapes and I feel stem load types are often in the mix. It might not be universally true, but being able to remove the stem for loading/unloading keeps the main unit cleaner. Stems can be soaked in ISO...

Easiest to maintain, portable dry herb vapes?

Thanks for all the great feedback. Is the Arizer Air Max worth consideration if the price is low enough (e.g., $160 or so)?

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Yup, my friends and I were making diy gravity bongs 30+ years ago! I'm sure the concepts are much older than that. :)

Easiest to maintain, portable dry herb vapes?

Thanks! The elev8r is definitely cool, but really looking for something more portable. It would definitely check the box for something hard hitting and bong-like experience!

Easiest to maintain, portable dry herb vapes?

The FF2+ is interesting option and may appeal to smokers since it essentially looks like a pipe. The main issue I have is it appears to be a more finicky experience. I'm confident I would figure it out quickly and make it work well, but I don't know if a rookie (and potentially reluctant) dry...

Easiest to maintain, portable dry herb vapes?

Thanks for the helpful feedback! I'm a little worried about the Solo II's slower extraction since she's made comments her Edge doesn't provide big enough hits. She's used to bongs and joints, and the TM2 provides big, easy clouds and even makes her cough. Maybe if she knows what to expect it...

Easiest to maintain, portable dry herb vapes?

Right, I do like the vapcap style vapes, especially with an induction heater! Full disclosure: I'm trying to help my daughter get fully on board with dry herb vapes so she'll move away from smoking. To help with that, I'm hoping to find her something effective and super easy to use and...

Easiest to maintain, portable dry herb vapes?

I was thinking battery powered vapes, but didn't specify so the TA counts. :) Plus there's a real good chance I'll pick one up someday! The Nomad/Toad look amazing. I've been following along in those threads for a while now. Would love to try one someday. The Air Max looks like another great...
