Always worth saying something if you feel unhappy. This is a product that you paid for, does not matter that it is "lesser quality" than the US glass or whatever. It may be easier to live with, but a big chip in the slit or similar that affects performance and aesthetics drastically is worth...

I actually have that same issue with my solo and d020, even with a 18mm Wong it doesn't help. The two in combo suck for me also. I get really pleasing results with same heat settings and configuration on my Simba frit.
