Reading this talk of stems has me thinking I'm gunna change my eds solo stems into Ed's underdog stems. Thanks for the inspiration!

So I'm sitting here thinking about my UD and I'm wondering has anyone modified an Ed solo stem to work with a log? I kind of stopped using them with my solo but I wanna show off that wood! So when I get home this evening I'm gunna try to get them going. Will post back with results!

a) nails are for poking and stirring b) 1cm-3cm c) Its all just extra silicone to play round with :) d) pack the bowl so it stays, and you can use pure kief if you pack it down. i pack all my bowls with great results!

Okay so after some testing under 6v- 1st cart is hitting strong on 3.7 and 6 no problems 2nd cart isn't vaping properly, even on 3.7, I tried to get out air bubbles and such but it is still vaping weak. Maybe only one heater is firing? the cart is getting hot no doubt. just almost zero vapor...

Hmm ok. I tend to only hit for 4-6 seconds and only have 2 hits in a row usually. But I understand the precautions. Should I use a 5 ohm cart with this set up maybe? edit: looked at the cart chart and see my own solution. Im sure my lhs has some higher ohm carts because they carry the persei.

Just snagged my roommates tenergy batts and am running my 2.4 carts on 6v via my thermovape. Getting really good results! : D gotta buy my own now! This is my new set up for sure hahaha

Im in. Wanted a EV-1 when they first arrived and then the EV-2. This looks like it would complement my UD nicely.

I checked for the glow on all my 5 carts when i got them. one actually "blew". It was a short burst of glow but lit the whole cart up. cart didn't warm up after. This happened instantly when i pressed the button. Not sure how many carts have done this in the past but im glad i didn't have any...
