I leave the delrin on. It can handle it. I boil my core, cap, and mouthpiece in a strainer spoon to keep it from sitting on the bottom of the hot pot.

Yup, the RES works on the thermovape/ultramax (base piece is identical save for the delrin sleeve). Vaping with mine right now actually. Make sure you get the one with the switch. link

I think it might be from the nature of the device itself.. you really taste what you're vaping. So when it's "gone", you'll definitely taste that too. Do you know of any advantages to using nutella with the pb, over just using all pb? I personally don't care for nutella, and I thought it was all the fats in the pb that makes this mix work so well.

Have you guys seen this? RES system This reservoir replaces your atomizer interface, and allows you to vape for many sessions in between dripping as it holds about 2ml of liquid that feeds into your atomizer. Their take on a "tank" system, if you will. I really like mine :D

How fine is your grind? That can play a role. Temperature setting and draw speed can play a part too, among other things. As for the amount of hits off a bowl... I guess I've never really thought to count. Depends on how much of what you put in/pack it.

I would check that your switch is fully seated if you haven't already. Pull the switch out, and make sure the o-ring it sits on is fully seated in there. Edit: whoops I need to read more carefully. That is odd that it stopped all of a sudden. Id shoot them an email if you cant track it down...

Sinclue, these work perfectly for me. Very sturdy, they keep the batts locked in place with terminal protection, and you can insert them opposite directions to tell which are charged. PowerPax link
