If you don't want the silicone, why not just remove the seals? I'm sure it's fairly easy to do as I look at my Ascent. Nothing a pair of needle nose pliers can't resolve. Honestly, if you guys live in a major city (e.g. LA), the air you breathe is probably way worse anyway :)

Sam, did you get an email unprompted about your order that it was being shipped on Thursday or was it in response to an email you sent them? I ordered on the first day, they took the money, I got the mass email about the delay, but I haven't received any email in regards to the actual order.

I think we have a right to be upset because of the fact that they actually took the money already. If they hadn't taken it, I'd be less upset about it. No company should be taking your money UNTIL the product actually ships (unless it's a special order).

Just an FYI for those who pre-purchased from EZVapes. They are not listed as an authorized reseller of the Ascent on the DaVinci website (http://www.davincivaporizer.com/authorized-resellers/). When I asked EZVapes, they told me the warranty would be valid, but based on what the DaVinci...
