I hope so, if that's true, when these good ones start kicking in, I'll be set for life... No, I was nice about it, did nothing to piss them off I can think of. Can I try and use the vented batteries? I was worried I might inhale something I shouldn't, since the battery is kind of in the air path.

Are the tabs breaking, or are they melting and breaking? If your tabs keep melting, imo, it's prolly because your unit is getting hotter then it's supposed to and is defective, I would contact customer service.

Yes it works with both, but no, I don't have the water tower. It can be purchased separately from the manufacturer though.

Yep, mine was hard as hell to get off too. If I remember correctly, there is a rim or two of teflon on the inside that is held by the 6 metal...posts I guess you would call them. So it helps if you try and wedge something very thin, but sturdy, in between the teflon and posts. While you pull up...

Curious if anyone found a better deal for the power adapter, seems none of our retailers carry it. Can only find it on the MLFB site, sitting in my shopping cart right now. Having trouble pulling the trigger though, $59 plus shipping for basically a power cord seems like too much to me. :shrug:

Warm up the concentrate bowl first and push down firmly, that's what I did. It was also mentioned by TRVB that you can remove the teflon if you would like.
