Not growing or curing - just wondering how people deal with drying and storing new buds that have been bought, especially when having several different kinds.

New question - how do you all handle strategy for storage, curing, grinding? What is your "workflow" in using herb, especially if you have many different strains? iOW, where do you store it, how and when do you dry it, etc?

But, i assume you should see SOME visible vapor? I tried vaping at low temp (300F), saw no vapor, could taste some, effect was too light. I'm back to 375-385.

Thanks so much for your informative reply. For those who will only do one or two hits in a session, what is recommended starting temp? A newbie friend just asked me this, I said 375-385. He was vaping at 295 which seemed too low to me. Is he getting affect without seeing vapor upon exhale?

OF, thanks for the advice. So you are saying dry buds, say, overnight in an exposed container, then grind and dry again for a few hours, than bottle for later use?

1_gr8_underdog, thanks for your informative and concise reply. You' ve been quite helpful. One more thing - what is common strategy for keeping herb fresh but than drying it out before use? Recent herb is quite moist, hard to grind. When, where and how does one dry it out?
